Prototype Shipping Container Housing
Over the past 5 years, of our own accord, we have been looking at designing housing from recycled shipping containers. This has led us to exploring the use of containers for a range of housing options. Rural retreats, suburban housing, beachfront apartments, mining townships plus a host of other uses.
We see many advantages in utilizing these interesting structures and we have always looked at creating fine pieces of architecture incorporating environmentally sensitive design initiatives in an economical manner.
We have constructed a prototype rural retreat from a 12 metre container to test out our theories and have been delighted with the response.
